I have been working with Sunday Jump since July 2021. It is a BIPOC Open Mic Community series in Historic Filipinotown. We aim to unite our community to share their art through poetry, music, storytelling, comedy, etc.
I am a social media assistant, I create event flyers that capture the essence of each Sunday Jump event, attracting new and returning participants who resonate with the event's vibe. Additionally, I edit 18-25 monthly videos for Sunday Jump's YouTube channel, showcasing BIPOC artists in our community and boosting viewership.
We have consistently attracted around 40 participants for each event, a testament to the growing appeal and impact of Sunday Jump in our community.
